Scroll Wheel support on VB6 IDE

There was a time when every other software engineer was a Visual Basic programmer. This was so popular that companies often did not have the dearth of such programmers. Today it is obsolete. But behold, it still is popular as several legacy applications are written on them and they need maintenance. Microsoft doesnt support this anymore. There were several websites that offer solutions for some of the most complicated Visual Basic problems. So, one doesnt need to worry much on the non availability of support from Microsoft.

Meanwhile, an important development in the post Y2K was scroll wheel button on mouse. This is so useful that users who have used it will go haywire to work with mouse without it. Especially browsing is just hell without it. Since this gained popularity when Microsoft was concentrating on the heir to Visual Basic (.net), they did not care to support this feature on the IDE of VB.

If you are one such person who is looking for a solution for this here is some help. There is an add-in developed for this and is available to download freely here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel/HA101175901033.aspx

So, what are you waiting for? Go download and enjoy!
